A well designed logo is critical to effective business marketing and building a strong recognisable brand. As the company's major graphical representation, a logo anchors a company's brand and becomes the single most visible manifestation of the company within the target market. For this reason, a well-designed logo is an essential part of any company's overall marketing strategy.
We design unique logos, affordable to small businesses and tailored to best represent your brand.
After you have expressed an interest in a new logo, one of our account managers will begin the logo design process with a consultation over the phone, email or in person. This is where we get to know your business, what you do and get an understanding of your ideas for your logo. We'll then decide which price package is best suited to you and arrange a payment by bank transfer of 50% of the total fee, the other half will be paid when you are happy with the final product. If it is relevant the account manager will undertake web-based research into your competitors and target market.
When the payment is completed, we will select one of our designers; the account manager will provide a detailed brief to the designer and give an overview of our consultation. The graphic designer will then create a selection of prototype designs, some closely adhering to the clients ideas and more that challenge the original concept. The designer will decide on which logo they recommend using from the selection; the logo they decide on will be emailed to you. If you do not want to use the recommended design, or simply want to see more concepts, the designer will send the other prototypes with reasons for their initial recommendation.
Corporate logos are intended to be the "face" of a company: They are graphical displays of a company's unique identity, and through colors and fonts and images they provide essential information about a company that allows customers to identify with the company's core brand. Logos are also a shorthand way of referring to the company in advertising and marketing materials; they also provide an anchor point for the various fonts, colors and design choices in all other business marketing materials.
Good logos should be unique and comprehensible to potential customers. Although there are myriad choices for color, visual elements and typography, in general a logo should help convey some information about the company, or be designed in a way that gives some sense of meaning about the company or its industry. For example, cutting-edge firms and tech companies tend to have angular logos to convey speed, while service-oriented firms have rounded logos to provide a sense of service and trust.
